🙂：你好，我要一杯 Godiva 熱巧克力。

💁‍♂️：沒問題。是說，這品牌的正確發音到底是什麼？

🙂：原文荷蘭文的發音是 Godiva 。而英文則是唸 Godiva 。由於 Godiva 是比利時品牌，因此要唸荷蘭文發音的 Godiva 。

💁‍♂️：原來如此！我其實一直以來都唸 Godiva ，但最近被客人指正要唸 Godiva 。

🙂：那位指正你的客人應該是只接觸過英文，或是忽略了 Godiva 來自比利時的事實。這種人通常也會把 IKEA 唸作 IKEA 。

順帶一提， Godiva 的正確發音(荷蘭語)為「勾滴法(goh-dee-va)」
